Bio

Benefvctr grew up in a suburb outside of Portland, ME. Over the years his musical tastes were shaped by the likes of a variety of artists. Some of those artists are 65daysofstatic, Mogwai, Arms and Sleepers, Flitz & Suppe, Philanthrope, and Blue Sky Black Death.

With a love and appreciation of music, he started teaching himself Ableton Live, as well as getting into hardware synthesizers.

Over time, he drifted towards a much calmer, lo-fi mindset in terms of music production. Rife with lush piano chords, and off the grid beats reminiscent of old hip hop.
